Zoo Trails

These are available from the zoos reception or the education centre and can be obtained in advance or tailor made? They cover a variety of topics and often focus on a current conservation campaign that the zoo is supporting. In recent years these have included Shell shock (highlighting the plight of the world’s endangered tortoises and turtles), Rainforest, Save the Rhino, and this year the Island of Madagascar. Trails change frequently; themed trails are available on many of the zoos special event days, like our popular “Easter egg wise” trail. These can be produced in a variety of formats including “pictures and symbols” (copyright Widget software 2004) which is popular with our special needs visitors.

New for Spring 2010 The Zoo stamp trail. Explore the zoo and find the animal stamp hidden stations (clues provided) and collect the different stamps!
