What better way to celebrate your birthday than to have your birthday party at the zoo?
As well as having access to all of the zoos facilities, you can find out about your favourite animals with your own special contact session! This is not only fun but you will be helping the zoo to fundraise at the same time.
A birthday party with a Difference! A visit to the zoo to meet the animals with your children. Join in with the encounter sessions, talks and feeding times.
Your party lunch in the African Café will be either sandwiches, sausage rolls, sausages, cakes, biscuits, soft drink and crisps (but not a birthday cake, bring your own cake and leave it with our café staff) or chicken nuggets and chips in a party box.
We will take care of all the children’s catering for you (except the birthday cake). Two styles of party are available; our standard party where afterwards you can continue to enjoy the rest of the zoo for the day or our deluxe party where your own personal encounter session follows (about 30 minutes duration in our education centre) and then you can retire to the rest of the zoo.
Encounter sessions can revolve around your selection of our friendly contact animals such as our meerkats, owl, armadillo or other animals that we use daily at the zoo such as the snakes, spiders, or minibeasts!
You can enter the zoo anytime after opening at 10.00am
Your party lunch can be booked for either 11.00am or 2.30pm. Our deluxe birthday party encounter sessions are usually at 12.30. Please contact our main reception on 01598 763352 or our café staff (if visiting the zoo) to book and check availability.
Costs are:
For the standard party
Per child party lunch (party food or nuggets/sausages/fish fingers & chips and squash) £14.95 (3-15 inc)
For the deluxe party
Per child party lunch (party food or nuggets/sausages/fish fingers & chips and squash) £18.95 (3-15 inc)
1 Adult free with every 6 children
Additional adults £13.00 and must be paid for with booking.(does not include food)
(minimum 6 children)
You could add glitter tattoos to your day @ £2.50 per child (please pre-book) and perhaps a leaving gift of party bags starting @ £5.00 each (please enquire about contents)
